BROOKLYN (November 21, 2016) – In the spirit of the Thanksgiving holiday, super middleweight world champions Badou Jack and James DeGale, plus junior lightweight world champion Jose Pedraza and unbeaten challenger Gervonta Davis, donated and distributed Thanksgiving meals at the Bed-Stuy Campaign Against Hunger in Brooklyn before their press conference last Wednesday to discuss their respective January 14 showdowns taking place at Barclays Center and live on SHOWTIME.
Over 300 boxers - male & female will come together from all over Europe to compete at this annual event and having come up through the ranks of Amateur Boxing myself, it's great to give back a little.
THE SUN - Gavin Glicksman's interview with me below (dated 22nd March 15):
James DeGale believes Andre Dirrell is running scared ahead of their collision for the vacant IBF world title.
Super-middleweight DeGale had hoped to face Dirrell on British soil after the bout went to purse bids.
But with Eddie Hearn's offer of $2.1million blown out of the water by a staggering $3.1m from Team Dirrell, Chunky has been left playing a waiting game while a date and venue is finalised.
